3-7 Adjustment

(2-1) “Init Thru Sen” sensitivity adjustment
“Init Thru Sen” is a submenu for adjusting the sensitivity of the “SA Adjust Sensor U”
(transparent sensor).
Preparation:
1. Prepare recommended label media or label media to be used.
2. Peel off a label from the liner.
3. Open the “SA Cover” and set the label media.
4. Be sure that the label media is correctly set against the “SA Adjust Sensor U”. If the
label media has a black mark, keep away the black mark from the “SA Adjust
Sensor U”.
5. Close the “SA Cover”.
Procedure:
1. Enter Factory/Service mode by turning on the power while pressing and holding the
[MENU], [FEED] and [STOP] keys.
“Factory Setup” main menu appears.
2. In “Factory Setup” main menu, press the [STOP] (X) key to enter Factory Setup
mode.
3. Be sure that the first submenu “Init Thru Sen” is displayed.
4. Press the [STOP] (X) key to enter “Init Thru Sen” sensitivity adjustment mode.
5. Press the [MENU] (T) key to select “Exec”.
6. Press the [STOP] (X) key to execute adjustment.
Adjustment starts and the following screen is display.
7. Be sure that adjustment is successfully completed and the following screen is
displayed. (The value “123” is an example.)
