Symptoms Checks Remedies
LED does not light. 1. Is the “SA FFC LED” firmly connected
between the “SA Main PCB” (J3) and
the “SA LCD PCB” (J301)?
2. Is the “SA FFC LED” inserted upside
down?
3. Failure in the “SA LCD PCB”.
4. Failure in the control circuit.
1. Connect it firmly.
2. Insert it in the correct direction.
3. Replace the “SA LCD PCB”.
4. Replace the “SA Main PCB”.
No key works. 1. Is the “SA FFC LED” firmly connected
between the “SA Main PCB” (J3) and
the “SA LCD PCB” (J301)?
2. Is the “SA FFC LED” inserted upside
down?
3. Failure in the “SA LCD PCB”.
4. Failure in the control circuit.
1. Connect it firmly.
2. Insert it in the correct direction.
3. Replace the “SA LCD PCB”.
4. Replace the “SA Main PCB”.
Nothing appears on
the LCD.
1. Is the printer in Standby state (the
POWER LED is lit)?
2. Is the “SA FFC LED” firmly connected
between the “SA Main PCB” (J3) and
the “SA LCD PCB” (J301)?
3. Is the “SA FFC LED” inserted upside
down?
4. Is the FPC firmly connected between
the “SA LCD PCB” (J302) and the
LCD?
5. Failure in the “SA LCD PCB”.
6. Failure in the control circuit.
1. Press any key.
2. Connect it firmly.
3. Insert it in the correct direction.
4. Connect it firmly.
5. Replace the “SA LCD PCB”.
6. Replace the “SA Main PCB”.
