General Electrical Service Tips
2. Disable the truck:
• Turn the key switch to OFF.
• Remove key.
• Make sure battery is disconnected.
3. Discharging Controller Capacitors
It is necessary to discharge the capacitors before you work
on the controller.

Make sure that the battery has first been dis-
connected at the battery receptacle.
CAUTION
Always wear safety glasses.
Remove all jewelry before
working on truck.
. Park truck on a flat level surface.
. Fully lower upright.
. Tilt forks forward until fork tips touch the floor.

General Electrical Service Tips
To discharge the capacitors connect a 200 ohm 10
watt resistor between the positive and negative
input post of the controller for 10 seconds.
