6. Type in the new password (minimum 8 characters) and click Change. No old password
is required.
After 1 hour or a restart the new administrator password is required.

ADMINISTRATION and User administration the administrator can
change the password for the guest user
To change the current guest password, do as follows:
1. Enter the new password (minimum 8 characters) and retype it on the next line.
2. Click Change. At the next logon the new password is required.
To set up user permissions for guest login
You can manage user access to certain functions of the SAILOR 600 VSAT Ka. You can
allow or deny users that are not administrators (user name: guest, password: configured by
the administrator) to access certain functions and make these pages read-only. This is
useful to protect the system against unintended changes or tampering of the system. Most
of the items in the list of user permissions are self-explaining.

Item Description
Change network Change IP configuration of the LAN connectors of the ACU. For
further information see To configure the LAN network on
page 6-26.
Change e-mail
settings
Change e-mail addresses for sending reports. For further
information see E-mail setup on page 6-29.
Modify antenna data Only used during service and maintenance when you exchange
modules in the antenna.
Control modem Allow to reset or power cycle the modem. Allow to configure
communication ports to the modem.
Require guest login When set to Yes, a login page is displayed and the user name
guest and the password must be entered before the Dashboard
can be displayed.
