Description
Performs tests on the SRAM, DRAM (image memory, bitmap memory) and optional memory on the fax control
PCB.
Purpose
Used to check if reading and writing are performed correctly in respective installed memories.
Start
1. Press the start key. The screen for selecting an item is displayed.
2. Select an item using the cursor up/down keys.
Performs tests on SRAM and DRAM.
Performs tests on optional memory.

1. Press the start key. The test is performed and the results displayed as follows.
• When the test result is OK:

• If the test result is NG:

2. To return to the screen for selecting an item, press the stop/clear key.
Performing tests on optional memory
1. Press the start key. The test is performed and the result is displayed as follows.
• When the test result is OK:

• If the test result is NG:
TEST OPTION MEMORY
NG DRAM B.M 0x

2. To return to the screen for selecting an item, press the stop/clear key.
Completion
If the test result is OK, press the stop/clear key at the screen for selecting an item. The screen for selecting a
maintenance item No. is displayed.
If the test result is NG, reset by turning the main switch off and on.
