64 AlterPath PM Installation, Administration, and User’s Guide
id
Sets or displays the ID of a PM unit that you are directly connected to. A
maximum of eight characters (not case sensitive) is allowed. Spaces, numbers,
and special characters are allowed.
This command is available to the administrator user only.
This command does not work in a daisy chain.
Syntax
id <PM name>
or
id
Arguments
<PM name> Desired name of the PM
Examples
To set a PM ID to RDservers, type:
To display the name of the connected PM, type:
pm>id RDservers
PM id = RDservers
pm>id
