8. Move the main and range shift le

vers into the desired positions. (For
the HST model, move the range
shift lever to the desired position.)
9. The tractor starts to move if you
release the clutch pedal slowly.
(For the HST model, the tractor
starts to move when depressing
the forward HST pedal slowly.)
Never put your foot on the
clutch pedal during driving.
The clutch disc can be rapidly
worn.

Do not cha nge t he trac tor
speed abruptly for safe driv-
ing.
When driving on a slope or
loading or unloading the trac-
tor to a transporting vehicle,
reduce the speed in advance
so that there is no need to
shift the gear in the middle
of the slope. Also, do not put
your hand on the shift lever
while driving on a slope. The
tr ac to r m ay r ol l down the
slope due to the disengaged
gear which is very dangerous.
