Note: Both the FPN and PRNU coefficients are always turned on.
Digital Signal Processing
To optimize camera performance, digital signal processing should be completed after any analog
adjustments.
FPN Correction
Performs FPN correction and eliminates FPN noise by removing individual pixel dark current.
Camera Link Command
Perform all analog and digital adjustments
before performing FPN correction.
Perform FPN correction before PRNU
correction.
Refer to Calibrating the Camera to Remove
Non-Uniformity (Flat Field Correction) on
page 51 for a procedural overview on
performing flat field correction.
To save FPN coefficients after calibration,
use the wfc command. Refer to section
Saving and Restoring PRNU and FPN
Coefficients for details.
