Transmit Function Characters
Enables/disables transmission of Code128 function characters 1, 2, 3, and 4.
Function codes are transmitted as follows:
• FNC1 = 80 hex
• FNC2 = 81 hex
• FNC3 = 82 hex
• FNC4 = 83 hex
NOTE
If the label starts with a function 3 character, it is con-
sidered a programming label and no modificatoins are
made to the label data. Other than that, if this configu-
ration item is set to disable, then all function characters
are stripped from the label data.
Disabled is the recommended setting for all interfaces.
