Installing the optical drive
Prerequisites
NOTE:
Only slim 9.5-mm SATA DVD-ROM drive or DVD+/-RW drive can be installed in your system. External optical drives
can be connected through USB ports.
1. Follow the safety guidelines listed in Safety instructions.
2. Follow the procedure that is listed in Before working inside your system.
3. If installed, remove the front bezel.
Steps
1. Align the optical drive with the slot on the system.
2. Slide the optical drive into the slot until the release tab clicks into place.
