NOTE: To generate the thermally optimized sled-to-slot assignments, enter the MX configuration in the EIPT tool and click
Optimize
To setup the sled:
1. Power off the MX7000 chassis.
2. Install the eight, MX760csleds at front of the enclosure.
3. Install the four, 60 mm gold grade (Gen 2) fans at the front and the five, 80 mm gold grade (Gen 2) fans at the rear of the
MX7000 chassis
4. To verify if correct gold grade fans are installed, use one of the following methods:
Physical Verification:
1. Identify the Gold Grade silksreen on the fan module
