• When using Area Route and Linear Route, the default camera focus mode is MF
innity, and the distortion correction is disabled.
• During an orthophoto operation, it is recommended to adjust the ight route
speed to the maximum value and enable elevation optimization.
Route Parameters
Specications Description
Ortho GSD Ortho GSD is the ground sampling distance of the ortho-
photos taken on the rst route, i.e., the distance between
two consecutive pixel centers measured on the ground.
The larger the Ortho GSD value, the lower the resolu-
tion of the orthophotos. The ight route altitude will be
changed accordingly when changing the Ortho GSD value.
Altitude Mode The starting plane of the ight route altitude.
• Relative to Takeo Point (ALT): the altitude of the
aircraft relative to the takeo point. It is recommend-
ed to use this option for aerial mapping operations.
Then, Target Surface to Takeo Point will appear. Tar-
get Surface to Takeo Point = the altitude of the target
surface - the altitude of the take-o point.
• ASL (EGM96): the altitude of the aircraft relative to
the EGM96 geoid. Flight Route to Target Surface will
appear. Flight Route to Target Surface = the altitude of
the ight route - the altitude of the target surface.
• AGL: Altitude above Ground Level, which is the alti-
tude of the aircraft relative to the ground below. Ter-
rain Follow Altitude will appear.
Flight Route Altitude The altitude of the ight route in a ight task. Dierent
altitude modes have dierent starting planes for the ight
route altitude. The Ortho GSD value will be changed ac-
cordingly when changing the ight route altitude.
Safe Takeo Altitude After taking o, the aircraft will y up to the safe takeo
altitude (relative to the takeo point), then y to the start
point of the ight route.
Safe Takeo Altitude is eective only when the air-
craft executes a ight task before takeo. If the air-
craft starts to execute a ight task after takeo, the
safe takeo altitude will not take eect.
