Simga2N Traction Advanced Manual V1.3 Page 87 (166) ©2021 DMC GmbH Herten Germany
Handbrake input is used in conjunction with Hill Hold function (refer to parameter M1.5-1 Hill hold
enable ”Off/HH/S””).
If set to 2 (Timed Speed Limit 3), then the behaviour is the same as if set to 0 (Speed Limit 3), with
the only difference that driving will be allowed only for a limited time, starting from when the limit is
applied. The drive time can be configured by parameter M5.1-7 Speed limit 3 drive time “Spd3Time””.
This function is not active when Advanced mode is active (M2-3 Digital input 5 and 6 configuration
”Sp/In/Ad”” set to 2).
If set to 3 (Generator mode), then the input can be used to activate/deactivate the “generator mode”.
For details please refer to “M1.15-1 Generator speed threshold ”GenSpdTh””.
M2-5 Dual motor configuration ”DMconfig”
This sets if controller is used as single traction motor or if it is the left or right hand unit in a dual motor system.
If set to 0, controller will be configured as Single Motor.
If set to 1, controller will be configured as Dual Motor Left (master), with steering potentiometer.
If set to 2, controller will be configured as Dual Motor Right (slave), with steering potentiometer.
If set to 3, controller will be configured as Dual Motor front/right (master), without steering
potentiometer.
If set to 4, controller will be configured as Dual Motor front/right (slave) torque mode, without
steering potentiometer.
If set to 5, controller will be configured as Dual Motor Left (master) Torque mode, without steering
potentiometer.
If set to 6, controller will be configured as Dual Motor Right (slave) Torque mode, without steering
potentiometer.
If set to 7, controller will be configured as Dual Motor Left (master) Torque mode independent,
without steering potentiometer.
If set to 8, controller will be configured as Dual Motor Right (slave) Torque mode independent,
without steering potentiometer.
If set to 9, controller will be configured as 4WD Motor Left system (global) master, with steering
potentiometer.
If set to 10, controller will be configured as 4WD Motor Left local master, with steering
potentiometer.
If set to 11, controller will be configured as 4WD Motor Right (slave), with steering potentiometer.
For more details about the Dual Motor feature, parameters and setup please refer to [3].
This parameter requires a key cycle off-on to be effective.
M2-6 Accelerator supply wire off detection ”SplyWrOf”
This sets how the wire off detection for accelerator is detected.
If set to 0, no wire off detection on accelerator potentiometer supply lines is active.
If set to 1, 0V wire off detection is enabled (“Pin A10 Analogue supply 0V” of 35-Way connector).
If set to 2, 5V wire off detection is enabled ( “Pin A8 Analogue supply 5V” of 35-Way connector).
If set to 3, both 0V and 5V wire off detection are enabled.
This parameter requires a key cycle off-on to be effective.
M2-7 Standby delay timer ”StdByDly”
This sets a period of time after which the Line Contactor will be de-energized if there is no drive activity and
the seat or tiller switch is open.
When the seat or tiller switch is closed, the controller powers up, performs all necessary hardware and software
checks and closes the line contactor.
If set to 0, then the feature is deactivated and no timer is used.
If set from 0.5 to 10 [minutes] the stand-by timer is considered and active.
M2-8 Digital inputs active low/high ”ActvL/H”
This sets whether the digital inputs are active low or active high.
