Remove the nut and lock washer from each of the four bolts, mount the external cabinets onto the four bolts
using the attached bracket then replace the lock washers and nuts. Tighten the nuts to secure the cabinet to
the side of the CL96 panel.
G.2 Connecting A/C Power to the Secondary Enclosure
All optional secondary enclosures contain their own DC Voltage power supply. The cabinets are delivered with
a power cable and a liquid tight cord grip which may be used to power the unit as described below.
IMPOTANT: When installing A/C power to the secondary enclosure read carefully:
Installation of A/C power must be done by a qualified electrician.
A switch or circuit breaker shall be included in the building installation.
It shall be in close proximity to the secondary enclosure and within reach of the OPERATOR.
It shall be marked as the disconnecting point for the secondary enclosure.
Be sure to follow all safety precautions and disconnect electrical power from both the CL96 and secondary
enclosure before servicing.
G.2.1 Installing the liquid tight cord grip (DOD Part #2-9400-523)
Drill a 7/8” hole in the side of the cabinet at the desired location
Using the liquid tight cord grip (DOD Part #2-9400-523)
Unscrew the cord grip cap
Unscrew the inside nut (leave the fixed nut on the fitting)
Place the included O-ring over the threads on the inside portion of the fitting so that it sits inside the
fixed nut see figure G.2.1.

Insert the threads through the hole from the outside into the cabinet and replace the nut on the inside
as shown in figure G.2.2 tighten securely.
