1.3.3 CAT1740 and CAT1741 AC input
The CP950 uses a CAT1740 power supply module to supply power to the unit. The input is a simple
unswitched IEC power inlet module that is typically used in computers. The CAT1740 power supply supports
100-240 VAC and draws 0.64-0.30 Amps. The CAT1740 supports alternating current frequency between 50-60
Hz. If needed, a CAT1741 could power a regular CP950. The CP950A uses a CAT1741 power supply module to
supply power to the unit. The input is a simple unswitched IEC power inlet module that is typically used in
computers. The CAT1741 power supply supports 100-240 VAC and draws 1.2-0.6 Amps. The CAT1741 supports
alternating current frequency between 50-60 Hz. The CAT1741 is the only power supply that works with a
CP950A. You cannot use a CAT1740 in a CP950A.
