4.1.6 Finalizing the equalization
You can finalize the equalization.
Procedure
Test the Dolby CP950 audio playback to ensure proper operation and sound, and then click maintenance in
the navigation bar, back up your system settings, and save the backup in a safe place for future use.
4.2 Using Dolby Atmos Designer and one-third octave EQ
You can use Dolby Atmos Designer (DAD) and standard one-third octave EQ (internal real-time analyzer) to
configure a room.
This section explains how to use DAD to configure a room with a mix of analog and digital outputs or internal
crossovers, and then use the standard one-third octave EQ. This configuration does not use the Dolby
AutoEQ system.
You can connect to the Dolby CP950/CP950A in DAD soware version 3.3.7 or higher by entering its IP
address. To ensure the correct device configuration, you must change the target device field under the DAD
define > routing tab to CP950 or CP950A depending on your respective unit, as shown in the following
figure.
