12 Setting the basic functions
All settings for operating the control unit can be made on the OP1000 control panel.
12.1 Motor rotation direction
CAUTION
If the assembly of the motor is changed, e.g. rotated or with a speed reducer, you
must ensure that the value set with parameter t 08 05 for the direction of rotation has
been correctly allocated.
12.2 Selecting the machine model
The different types of machine are characterised by specific features. These parameters are prepared and already
saved at the factory in the MACH ID memory . This data memory is fitted to the upper part and is connected to the
control unit by a cable.
Mach - ID is available and is connected to the control unit:
Depending on the content of the Mach ID, special function processes for the type of machine and the different
preset values are enabled.
Mach ID is not available:
Sewing data from DA dongle;
Sewing data from the back up area;
Sewing sections from DA dongle;
The preset values for the machine classes must be loaded via the DA dongle.
If the machine parameters are not loaded, there can be no clear allocation to a machine class and so only
emergency run features will be enabled.
