Input Shaft Removal and Installation | Service Procedures TRSM0940
5. Using a Flanged-end Bearing Driver install the Input
Shaft Bearing into the Transmission Main Case until the
snap ring groove is fully visible.
6. Install
the Input Shaft snap ring.
7. Install
the Front Bearing Cover and gasket. Make sure
the oil return and gasket line up with the oil return hole
in the Main Case.
8. Install
the Front Bearing Cover and gasket; torque the
six cap screws to 35–45 lb-ft.
