Release Yoke and Cross-Shaft(s) Removal and Installation | Service Procedures TRSM0940
3. Install the upper Cross-Shaft into the bore.
4. Slide yoke onto
upper Cross-Shaft assembly and install
1 cap screw and lock washer by hand.
5. Install lower
Cross-Shaft assembly and install 1 cap
screw and lock washer by hand.
6. If
previously removed, install the O-ring onto the
Cross-Shaft Plug and then install the Cross-Shaft Plug
into the Transmission Housing and torque to 34–48
lb-ft (46–65 N•m).
