If you are using one switch to connect a CLARiiON CX3-80 array, connect the cables
as shown in Figure 168. The CLARiiON array SAN ports 0 and 1 are used in this
example, but you can use any two ports on each SP:

1. Connect SP A port 0 Fibre to the switch.
2. Connect SP B port 0 Fibre to the switch.
3. Connect SP A port 1 Fibre to the switch.
4. Connect SP B port 1 Fibre to the switch.
5. Record which SP ports you connected to which switch ports using the “FC/FCoE
cabling worksheet” on page 273.
Note: If you did not use the default SP and FC switch cabling, you must manually select the FC
switch ports the array will use in “Step 2: Install latest File OE on CS 0” on page 139.
