2. The blade ports should be listed with Fibre Logged In displayed as Yes and
Registered displayed as No. Figure 178 shows information for a new array; an
existing CLARiiON array would have many entries in this list. Find the new ports
and verify that the WWN matches the values you noted from the Control Station
session in “Collecting backend WWNs” on page 302. (The WWN format used by
Navisphere Manager is Node:Port, with each two digits separated by a colon.)
Note: You will have a total of 16 to 32 initiator records. Four ports are listed for each of the
blades. Each blade port appears twice because of redundant paths to each physical blade
port.
3. Select the first blade port and click Register. The Create Initiator Record dialog
box appears with the HBA WWN, SP, and SP Port fields already filled in as
shown in Figure 179.
