6. Modbus
Both MODBUS TCP/IP (Ethernet) and MODBUS RTU (RS485) protocols are supported. Modbus TCP/IP uses
port 502.
To have the Modbus connection activate the inputs to the welding control, access the control
configuration parameters (using WSP3, touch- screen or NetFlash) and select
I/O SOURCE: COMn
where n = desired port (see table below).

Restart the control.
This setting only affects the inputs and outputs. Parameter access is always available, even if I/O Source
is set to something other than a Modbus port.
