1.4.3 Available Scan Area
The origin point for this scanner is marked at the rear left corner of the
document table when viewed from the front. See "Figure 1-9. Maximum Scan
Area" for the maximum scan area.

1.4.4 Transportation Screw
A carriage fixing screw is attached to the rear of the scanner. The purpose of
this screw is to protect the carriage assembly from shocks when transporting or
moving the scanner. Be sure to turn this screw to the UNLOCK position before
turning the scanner power on.
