5.3.3.2  Japanese/English Display Select Button
Click this button to toggle the display language for the dialog box between 
Japanese and English.
5.3.3.3  Changing the Scanner Model
1. Select the scanner model from the scanner model selection list.
2. Click Write.
5.3.3.4  Adding a new scanner model
1. If you would like to add a new scanner model, enter the name of the new 
scanner model in the additional model display area.
2. After entering the model name, click Add. The new scanner model will then 
be added to the end of the scanner model selection list.
The new scanner model can then be selected in the same way as other 
scanner models.
5.3.3.5  Deleting the Selected Scanner Model
1. Select the scanner model that you would like to delete so that the model 
name appears in the additional model display area.
2. After checking that the selected scanner model is correct, click Delete.
3. The selected scanner model will then be deleted from the scanner model 
selection list.
5.3.3.6  Resetting the number of scans to zero
1. Click 0 Clear. The 0 Clear confirmation message box will be displayed.
2. To reset the value, click OK. To cancel the operation, click Cancel. The 
data will only be reset to zero if you click OK.

Due to the identity of the program, if you input some 
data to any area and click "write" button, the life 
counter of scanning frequency and ADF paper 
sheets fed will be reset automatically. Therefore, it is 
recommended to take a memo before you edit any 
area.

Prepare an note to write down each scanners life 
counter when you service or repair a scanner.

Note that when the number of scans (cumulative 
life) is reset to zero, the previous value will not be 
retained.
