4.2.1.4 Scanner Mechanism Removal
Remove the scanner mechanism from the housing as described below.
1. Remove the scanner mechanism cover. (See "Chapter 4.2.1.3 Mechanism
Cover Removal".)
2. Remove the four screws (No.1) which are securing the scanner
mechanism to the housing, and then hold the scanner mechanism removal
belts to remove the scanner mechanism from the housing.

When installing the scanner mechanism:
1. Remove the power switch key from the scanner
mechanism.
2. Install the scanner mechanism to the housing.
3. Re-attach the power switch key.

After removing the scanner mechanism, be sure to
place it on top of the special tool (leveling tool) while
working in order to maintain the rigidity of the product.
(See "Chapter 4.2.1.4.1 Using the Leveling Tool".)
