 Take care not to confuse the orientation of the terminal side of
the FFC when connecting the FFC to the Printhead.
 After installing the CR Weight, form the FFC of the CR
Encoder Board as shown at right. (See Figure 4-21)

P O I N T
When installing the Valve Assy, place the Head FFCs between the
Ink Tube Assy and the Tube Guide, and connect them to the Valve
Assy. In doing so, to facilitate your work, you are advised to place a
sheet of paper bent into a shape of mountain over the FFCs and
remove it after installing the Valve Assy. (See Figure 4-22)

Adjustments are required. When the Printhead has been replaced
with a new one, refer to the following section and perform the
necessary adjustments. Note down the head ID before installing the
Printhead. (See Figure 4-20)
