Dial Tone Detection
When this is set to On, the product starts dialing after
it detects a dial tone. If a dial tone detection error
occurs, you can turn this off. However, doing so may
drop the first digit of a fax number and send the fax to
the wrong number.
If you are connecting the product to a PBX phone
system or terminal adapter, and the dial tone
detection error occurs, change the Line Type setting
to PBX.
