Before starting the weekly maintenance tasks, read carefully the safety information in the
Introduction of Preventive Maintenance on page 4-1.
All daily maintenance tasks are integral part of the weekly maintenance. Please refer to the
appropriate chapter for detailed description.
4.4.1 Tools, Material and Scheduling
For an effective and efficient weekly maintenance, detailed in this chapter, the following resources
have to be provided:
An error free function is only guaranteed with the usage of tools, materials and genuine
parts mentioned in the table below and at the individual tasks. The usage of tools, materials
or parts other than recommended is at the user's own risk and cost. It can result in the
expiration of warranty.
Required Tools / Auxiliary Material / Spareparts
Pusher needles SP26/BN01
Vacuum cleaner. The vacuum cleaner must be conforming to ESD (Electrostatic
Discharge) and must not have a metal attachment nozzle. If it does not conform
with the ESD rules and/or the using of a metal nozzle may result in damage of
system components.
Soft and lint-free lens cleaning tissue (must be a tissue specially prepared for
cleaning lenses and other sensitive surfaces). Recommended is the microfibre
eyeglass cloth out of the SP26/MAIN05 Tool-Kit for Maintenance Tasks
Ethanol or Isopropanol
Compressed air
