4.5.2 Prerequisites
For a safe and efficient maintenance, detailed in this chapter, the following prerequisites have to
be fulfilled:
Production:
• stopped
Machine loading:
• Production Material unloaded
• Feeder and Trays unloaded
• Nozzles, does not matter
Machine operating condition:
• in operation
Main electrical power:
• connected
Compressed air:
• connected
Machine location:
• does not matter
Schedule around 10 minutes to fulfill these prerequisites (see also chapter 'Tools, Material and
Scheduling' for the overall effort).
Note:
To gain the above mentioned prerequisites, follow the steps described in chapter "Gaining
Prerequisites b" on page 4-63.
4.5.3 Feeder and Rack Cleaning
Clean the Feeder Rack
Remove all loose components and dust on the
feeder rack with a vacuum cleaner. Pull out the
sliders and clean it as well (see picture).
Wipe the sliders with an oily cloth. Do not oil or
grease any other parts of the feeder rack
otherwise the dust will sticky on the surface.
