As a precondition the conveyor front and back
rail have to be parallel to the beam.
To check parallelism, do the following steps: Go
to menu System - Calibration - XY gantry /
Calibstation and press to open the camera
window (1).
By means of the top camera, check the Y
coordination of the left (2) and right (3) fiducial
of the front rail (BUM beam). A deviation of less
than 0.1 mm is acceptable.
Do exactly the same procedure to check the
parallelism of the back rail.
If any adjustments are needed, go to chapter
'Mechanical Adjustment Possibilities' on page 3-
11.
Check Height
As a precondition the conveyor front and back rail have to have the correct height in reference to
the beam.
Using the laser or any ZT axis, measure the height of the left and right fiducial on the front rail and
the left and right fiducial on the back rail. The four fiducial must have the same height or may not
deviate more than 0.1 mm.
If adjustments are needed, go to chapter 'Mechanical Adjustment Possibilities' on page 3-11.
