The Y sliders have a fitting for applying grease.
Using the grease gun, loaded with the
recommended grease (see 'Tools, Material and
Scheduling') and equipped with the correct
coupler, attach the coupler of the grease gun to
the fitting on the slider and apply 1.75 cm³ (ml)
per slider. Do not over grease.
During applying the grease, move the sliders
back and forth to distribute the lubricant and
wipe off possibly excessive lubricant with a soft
cloth.
Please make sure that no grease is on the
surface of magnetic plates and on the
measurement system of the Y axis.
