– Alternatively, you can execute a double click on the cata-
logue element: Select the next free line (insert position,
slot) in the rack rail window before you make the double
click.
– Line 1 (slot 1) is reserved and cannot be used for the
configuration.
2.5.5 Install GSDML file
Install the GSDML file in the course of the following steps:
– GSDML-V...-Festo-CPX-...xml

1. S tart the installation function via the S tep-7 menu:
Options > Install GSD File ...
2. Update the hardware catalogue through the STEP-7
menu: Options > Update Catalog.
All available CPX modules appear in the hardware cata-
logue under PR O FINET IO > Additional Field Devices >
Valves > Festo CPX Terminal .
Y ou can start the selection and configuration of your mod-
ules (see secti on 2.6).
