13 Service Commands Overview ProfiNet

13.1 General System Command PS
13.1.1 PS Protocol Select
The DAD 143.x support a number of industrial Ethernet protocols. The respective protocol firmware type can
be freely selected with the PS command.
Current protocol is Ethernet/IP
Protocol firmware will be changed to type 1
After changing the protocol firmware, the DAD 143.x will save the setting and restart with the selected
protocol activated. Available protocols:
Factory default: PS=1.
Note: The PS setting can also be changed and saved from the front panel. Use front panel menu 8.8.
13.2 Ethernet Setup Commands NA, NM, NG, DN and MA
The Ethernet setup must be stored in nonvolatile memory with WP command and the DAD 143.x must be
re-started eg. with the SR command before these settings take effect.
13.2.1 NA Network Address (Read only)
The NA command can show the actual IP address currently in use by the DAD 143.x.
Current IP address is shown
Factory default: 0.0.0.0
Note: The NA setting can also be viewed from the front panel. Use front panel menu 8.4.
13.2.2 NM Network Mask (Read only)
The NM command can show the actual network mask currently in use by the DAD 143.x.
Current network mask is shown
Factory default: 0.0.0.0
Note: The NM setting can also be viewed from the front panel. Use front panel menu 8.5.
