Hardware Description
This chapter describes the hardware features and basic operation of the CS800 hardware,
including:
● "CS800 Server"
● "CS800 Basic Storage Module"
● "CS800 Storage Expansion Module"
● "Hard Drive Carrier Indicators"
CS800 Server
The CS800 server is a PRIMERGY RX300 S5 that provides control for the CS800 software
(Operating System and software applications).
All CS800 systems have one server.
Front View – Features and Indicators
Figure 39 shows the front side of the CS800 server component containing 11 2.5“ SAS hard
disk drives.
