Virus Warning Disabled (Fixed parameter) Sets whether or not to check for changes in the boot
sector of the hard disk drive after the previous
system startup. If the boot sector is changed without
a clear reason, it is necessary to scan the system for
computer viruses with a virus detection program.
System Load • Standard (at the time of
purchase)
• Diskette/CDROM Lock
Sets whether to enable or disable system startup
from a floppy disk or CD-ROM.
This setting is possible when a setup password is
specified.
Diskette Write • Disabled
• Enabled (at the time of
purchase)
Sets whether to enable or disable write protect on a
floppy disk.
Flash Write • Disabled
• Enabled (at the time of
purchase)
Sets whether to enable or disable write protect in
the system BIOS.
