If applicable, configure the onboard SATA controller, see "Notes on
configuring controllers" on page 80.

If applicable, configure the SAS/SATA RAID controller with Intel VROC
functionality, see "Notes on configuring controllers" on page 80.
Installing the operating system

Insert the DVD for the operating system you want to install.
▶
Reboot the server.
▶
Follow the instructions on screen and in the manual for the operating
system.

5.10.1 General Notes
Ensure that the power saving functions are disabled in the Power menu
of the BIOS setup during operation.
