10.2.5 Installing the processor

Ê Hold the processor between your thumb and index finger and align it at the
socket coding.
V CAUTION!
The processor can only be installed in one direction. Make sure that:
– the recesses on the processor (A) are aligned with the
corresponding markings on the socket (B)
– the notches of the processor are aligned with the protrusions of
the socket (see circle)
To avoid damaging the spring contacts, do not force the processor
into the socket.
