5.1 Installing a hot-plug Power Supply Unit
(PSU)
5.1.1 Required tools
● Starting and completing the task:
– key for the rack doors (if applicable)
● Installing the power supply unit: tool-less
5.1.2 Starting the task
Ê Perform the following procedures:
1. Open the rear door of the rack, see "Opening the rack door" on page 40
5.1.3 Removing a dummy module (if applicable)
I Dummy modules protect free bays against environmental impact.
Remove the dummy module before installing an additional power supply
unit.
