6.2.4 Removing the HDD/SSD module
Ê Pull the HDD/SSD module out a few centimeters.
Ê Wait for at least 60 seconds.
I This period is necessary for the RAID controller to recognize that an
HDD/SSD module has been removed and for the hard disk drive to
come to a stop.
Ê Pull the HDD/SSD module out completely.
6.2.5 Completing the task
Perform one of the following procedures to complete the task:
1. "Installing the dummy module" on page 88
2. "Installing the HDD/SSD module" on page 80
6.3 Removing the HDD/SSD module
6.3.1 Required tools
● Starting and completing the task:
– key for the rack doors (if applicable)
● Removing the HDD/SSD module: tool-less
