Transmitting a message
Transmitting a direct call
A direct call transmits a fixed text to a fixed addressee (single user or
group) with a fixed direct calling number. In this example, the direct call is:
«Direct call text».
A list of direct calling numbers is available from your system administrator.
Call up Menu > Message lists > Outgoing
messages, then

Enter the direct calling number, e.g. 4321.

Press the [Hash] key.
Performance check
If transmission was successful, the display reads «POS direct call text»
after a short time.
When the user sends a negative acknowledgement or cannot be reached,
the display reads «NEG direct call text» after a short time.
If the user is not known or has failed to react to a message with a request
for manual acknowledgement, the display reads «??? Direct call text» after
a short time.
