Unless you set up the passwords you had set upon the Web
MMI (Setting -> SMS server setting) into each of the Handset,
you will not be able to use the SMS service.
2.4.2 The Procedure for When You have Forgotten the Password
In order to restore the password, you will need to initialize the system. As for the
method for initialization, refer to page 10-43.
1. The procedure for when you have forgotten the password you had set in
the Administrator's mode from the Web MMI
Login the Service mode and select; Settings -> Change password, and register a new
password. The Username cannot be changed from “Admin”.
2. The procedure for when you have forgotten the password you had set in
the Administrator's mode from the Handset
Execute Hardware reset of the Handset.
1) Disconnect the Handset subject for initialization from the LAN port.
2) Connect the Handset to the LAN port while pressing the [ON Hook] key and
the [*] key at the same time. Keep on pressing those keys.
3) Keep on pressing the keys until the screen on the Handset changes from white
to “black”, or until the logo “FURUNO” is displayed.
