11.1.3 HUB: 16P0273
The HUB board is for connecting networks between the Communication unit and the FB
terminal.
Processes are executed by following the network setups such as the setup for the Analog
ports, the setups for the Incoming indicator, and setups for the PBX settings, etc. Most
setup values are saved in the HUB board.
Additionally, various protocols are being equipped for the network equipments to establish
LAN connection.

The functions of each component
x CPU:
MMI (Man Machine Interface), Router, SIP Server, etc.
x Audio Codes:
DTMF detection and generation, echo canceller, etc.
x PCM CODEC:
Analog audio PCM CODEC, etc.
x FPGA:
Communication with TX FPGA in the MODEM board, etc.
x SLIC+RING
Monitoring the hook status for the analog devices, controlling the ringing tones
for extension / external calls
x HUB Controller
Auto MDI/MDI-X function, 10Base-T, 100Base-TX automatic switching, PoE
(Type-B)
