6. Once the setting has completed, press the [Stop/Exit] key. “MAINTENANCE” will
be displayed on the LCD.
7. Press [9][9] to exit the maintenance mode.
4.10.2 MODEM Settings
Make sure to confirm as described below.

1. Quickly press the keys in the order of [Menu/Set][*][2][8][6][4] to enter the
maintenance mode.
2. Once the equipment has entered in the maintenance mode, “MAINTENANCE” will
be displayed on the LED.
3. Press [1][0] to switch the screen to WSW No. input screen. “WSW00” will be
displayed on the LCD.
4. In order to make the MODEM settings, press [1][3].
The default value will be displayed on the LCD.
x FAX-2820 “WSW13 = 01011011”
x FAX-2810 “WSW13 = 00011010”
5. To make the setting for Cable equalizer to “0 km,” press [0][0][0][1][1][0][1][0],
and press the [Menu/Set] key. “WSW00” will be displayed on the LCD.
