1.2.3 Registration
The FB terminal used for the communication will need to be registered in the RNC
(Radio Network Controller).
As a result of this registration, connection between UE(User Equipment) and RNC will
be established, and then the “procedure to Attach” of “UMTS” to the Core Network will
be executed in order to establish connection for the purpose of Circuit Switching (CS)
and Packet Switching (PS).

1.2.4 Data Network
FB supports the connection method for Circuit Switching between the Voice and ISDN
circuits and those for 2 Packet Switching connection methods.
And, there are 2 services for Packet Switching; Standard IP data (Best efforts) and
Streaming IP (QoS).
