2. From the Settings menu, open; PBX Settings -> Extension.
3. Click Add extension to open the setting screen, and enter the extension “Number”,
“Password”, and “Note”.
x Number:
The extension number. Register a 4-digit number from 1000 to 9999. It is
recommended that you allocate the numbers in a definable format. Example:
Allocate numbers in the 1000s for those mounted to Navigation bridges.
x Password:
Set a password consisting of 1 to 8 characters / numbers. You may set the
same number as “Number” for the password so you can remember it easily.
x Note:
This will be displayed together with “Number” on the Handset setting screen
in the Web MMI, and therefore, it is recommended that you put a defined note
in the “Note” field.
This will be displayed via; Settings -> PBX settings -> Extension, Call limit,
Group.
Example: Setting for the Handsets mounted to Navigation bridges can be
“WH” or “Port side.” Up to 50 characters may be input in this field.
