3. Make sure to consider the Antenna maintenance performance for the form of the
Antenna-equipped mast. When checking the Antenna, you will have to remove the
Antenna radome.
4. Use an Antenna cable whose loss is 9 dB or less for when the frequency is 1.6 GHz.
For when the length is 30 m/40 m/50 m, use the 8D-FB-CV cable. The loss for
8D-FB-CV/50 m is approx. 9 dB/1.6 GHz. If the length is within 100 m, use the
12D-SFA-CV cable.
5. Although there is no specific direction defined for installing the Antenna, but in the
FB-1250, there is a bow mark: (▼) displayed upon the Antenna radome.
6. When removing the Antenna radome for FB-1500, make sure to tie the rope
equipped within the Antenna with the Antenna base hooks to prevent from dropping
the radome.
7. Although GPS is mounted in the Antenna, it is recommended to connect External
GPS for backup purpose. The input sentences of GP RMC and GP ZDA are
appropriate.
8. When connecting the Handset and the Incoming indicator via a SW HUB, make sure
to use a SW HUB of PoE specification. When connecting the Incoming indicator to
a SW HUB, the SW HUB will have to be of Type B.
9. Each TEL port can have two phone (Analog device) connected in parallel. The
Incoming indicator for FELCOM-70 (KK-893-3977) will be handled as equivalent
with phone device.
10. The Incoming indicator (FB-3000) will ring when it has received a phone call, FAX,
or UDI/RDI.
