  If your Furuno Boating Equipment does not reach [Ready] status, consider the following: * Ensure the antenna cable is properly connected. * Confirm there are no obstructions blocking the signal between the antenna and the satellite. * Use the Web software to perform a manual satellite search via Main ? satellite search. * Verify that the ship position data is correct (check for “No fix” or “No data” messages). * In the Web software, navigate to Settings ? Basic Settings ? GPS to ensure the backup GPS is set correctly.

  If the incoming indicator on your Furuno Boating Equipment does not sound: * Check that the cable between the incoming indicator and the Communication unit is correctly connected. * Adjust the incoming indicator volume by pressing S to increase the volume. * In the Web software, go to Settings ? Basic settings ? Incoming indicator (enabled service) and check if Voice (telephone), FAX, ISDN UDI, ISDN RDI (UDI/ RDI FELCOM 500 only) are checked.
