Note) The program floppy disk supplied contains both the terminal and main
programs.
1) Terminal program
1. Quit the terminal program.
2. Insert the floppy disk containing the terminal program into the FD drive.
3. Type [B], [:], and press [Enter] to change the drive to B. The prompt, "B:¥>.
To update the terminal program,
4. Type “INSTALL” and press [Enter].
5. Follow the instruction on the screen.
6. Updating is complete with the prompt of "A:¥>".
7. Turn off the terminal unit and on it again.
2) Main program
1. Press [F2] while pressing [Alt] and [Fn] to quit the terminal program.
2. Insert the floppy disk containing the terminal program into the FD drive.
3. Type [B], [:], and press [Enter] to change drive to "B." The prompt, "B:¥>" appears.
4. Turn off the main unit and on it again. Wait for 30 seconds.
5. Type “NBDPINST” and [Enter].
6. Confirm that a message "DP-10 File Update" is on the screen, and press [F1].
7. Type “NBDP.EXE” and press [Enter] on "File Name" line.
If an error message "Timeover Err" appears, press [Esc] and turn off the main unit
and on it again. Then, proceed from step 6.
8. Wait for about 5 minutes until "%" of "File Data Transferring" display reaches 100%.
9. Updating of main program is complete with a message "Transfer Complete."
10. Turn off the main and terminal units and on them again.
