5.1.2 Check list for power supply

Power-up
Turn on the breaker for the AC/DC power supply
(PR-850A/PR-300).
MF/HF transceiver, DSC-60, DP-6, and FELCOM 12
are turned on?
The power switches for DP-6 main unit and FELCOM
12 communication control unit are seen when the
battery control panel is opened.
Battery
The charger starts charging when BATT CHARGER
SW on the battery control panel is set to MANUAL?
The ammeter on this panel shows the charging current.
The voltmeter indicates approximately 28 V (charging
voltage).
Backup function
(RC-1800T)
Turn off AC power supply for PR-850A/PR-300.
The backup circuit works? That is, the power for MF/HF
transceiver, DSC-60, DP-6, and FELCOM 12 is
supplied from the battery?
The ammeter on the control panel indicats a flow of
current while the voltmeter on the control panel
indicates the voltage of the battery. IN-USE lamp
comes on.
Backup function
(RC-1800F)
Turn off the MAIN breaker of the breaker/fuse panel.
Carry out the same check as above.
AC FAIL control
(FS-5000)
During backup operation, press PTT SW of the
handset. FS-5000 displays “AC Main fail” message and
automatically comes to “LOW” power?
AC FAIL control
(FS-2550/1562-25)
During backup operation, “LOW” power appears
automatically?
Note) Only with AC FAIL board incorporated in the
transceiver.
Emergency lamp
Turn off all breakers and AC/DC power, except the
breaker on the output line of PR-850.
The emergency lamp comes on if EMG LAMP SW on
the battery control panel is turned on
