6. External position data is not shown on DSC-60, DP-6, and FELCOM 12
Do all units of DSC-60, DP-6, and FELCOM 12 show no position?
YES - Check that wiring of NMEA line to the equipment which do not show data.
- Check that system setting on FELCOM 12 is correct. (F8-2: NAV port)
- Check that system setting on DSC-60 is correct (POSITION AUTO).
- Check that NMEA data from GPS is normal.
- Receivable NMEA data from each equipment;
DSC-60: GGA, RMA, RMC, GLL (NMEA Ver2.0), ZDA
DP-6: GLL, RMA, RMC, VTG, DBT, MTW, VHW, TRF, ZDA
FELCOM 12: GLL (NMEA Ver2.0), RMA, RMB, RMC, VTG, WPL,
MTW, DBT, VDR, BWC, BWR
NO - Check wiring between the external navigation system (GPS) and NMEA data
input of board 05P0606.
Note: If CR6 on 05P0606 board is lit, NMEA data is being output from
05P0606 board.
